Five HaldeCraft craft show booth displays

Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on

As I'm gearing up for my first show of the season next week, and as I've been working on a new idea for yarn displays, I've been thinking a lot about how my craft show booth displays have changed over the last seven years. Seven! HaldeCraft is seven years old this month, y'all! This was one of my first craft shows as HaldeCraft. I didn't really have much yet in the area of displays, so everything was pretty much flat on the table. I also hadn't measured my tablecloths; while my original plan was to fold the crocheted blanket over...

Five Favorite HaldeCraft HandDyed Semi-solid Yarn Colorways

Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on

While I love to make multi-colored yarns that invoke a particular thing, like Sock Monkey, or songs, like Golden Years and Blue Jean.... my heart is really always with the solids and semi-solids. This might have something to do with my personal obsession of knitting complicated cabled designs, in which a solid color really sets off the pattern... but that's not really what this post is about (although that does give me an idea for a Friday Five of my favorite cable patterns!). Five HaldeCraft Yarn Bowl styles

Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on

If it's one thing I love doing with HaldeCraft, it's combining my love of making ceramics with my love of yarn. Which is one reason I make so many yarn bowls! Here are five that I currently offer. If you've ever threaded your yarn through one of those...

Five ceramics now available in custom colors - right from the item page!

Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on

This weeks' Friday Five post is short, but sweet! Y'all already know I love to do custom work, making many of my ceramics exactly the color you want to have. For a few weeks now, I've been working behind the scenes to make that even easier for you. These items are now available in custom colors! Not everything I make is going to be available with this new option, because it will depend on how much backstock bisque I have - but as I get my new studio more and more organized, the plan is to have at least one of almost...

Five new and restocked items at HaldeCraft this week

Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on

Mostly restocks, but how would you yarnies like a new, limited-edition colorway in a few different base yarns? Blue Sun in Andre; everyone's favorite electric blue in everyone's favorite workhorse of a fingering-weight yarn. Butter Dishes, which I can hardly keep in stock! If you like these utilitarian pieces, good for your standard one inch by one inch stick of butter... you're going to love it later this spring when I come out with something a little dressier that will be good for the larger, one-pound sticks! Until then, though, there are these pretty things. Dorian Gray in Tepper, Tiptree,...
