Product testers needed!

Posted by 55799468 on

Ask yourself the following questions: Are you one of my regular customers? Are you a spinner? Do you have time to spin two ounces of pencil roving before November 15th? Do you have time to answer a handful of questions about the roving after you're done spinning? Does the following photo grab your attention? If you answered "yes" to all five of these questions, I need to chat with you! I am looking for five spinners - regular customers who are willing to give me honest opinions about quality who can give me some feedback before the Thanksgiving holidays. If...

The start of a new week

Posted by 55799468 on

Good morning, everyone! What did you do this weekend? I did a lot of this - ... being that weekends are a surprisingly good time for me to get things done. I don't know why that is, and it doesn't happen every weekend (some times I like to take time off to hang out with my friends and family, isn't that crazy?). September Yarn Club: Why the Sea is Salt

It's October now, which means I can post about the September yarn club -- international people have all told me they've gotten theirs, which means I won't be spoiling anyone. Everything...

New base yarn: Windling

Posted by 55799468 on

I know, I know! SO MUCH NEW this week. This is a luxury worsted weight yarn (heavy worsted/aran) and it's a non-superwash (so feltable) British Bluefaced Leicester and Baby Alpaca. Mmmmmmm. IT'S SO FLUFFY! Windling, like I said, is a heavy worsted/aran non-superwash yarn (great for those looking for feltable yarns for soakers!) and one that I have tested out before -- in fact, I still have three of the limited edition "tester" colorways available from earlier this year. You can see everything that Windling is currently available in here.

New base yarn: Lynn

Posted by 55799468 on

Also new this week, a standard DK weight yarn that was definitely the hit of the party at Fiber-In! I’m already sold out of a couple of colors but I’ll be ordering more base yarn and dyeing more just as fast as I can. The name of this base is Lynn, and she will be a standard base in the shop (meaning that I will restock her as often as possible and as I dye more I will have her in most or all standard colorways). Lynn is a DK weight yarn, a springy and soft 100% Superwash Merino that...
