Why is it that out of seventeen pieces, only one of them is not "perfect" -- but then I don't even see the other sixteen? All I see is the one Teacher mug, and the paint that ran on it. I don't see the five custom order yarn mugs and how happy they turned out; I don't see the crazy Pumpkin Spice and Tangerine snack mugs that is going to make some orange lover very, very happy; I don't see the spinning wheel planter that I labored on (the mold is much harder to pour than I thought it...

Monday I did a much-needed bisque firing of the kiln. As you can see, I had greenware positively packed in there -- resulting in a nice, full kiln. I even had four shelves instead of my usual three -- thankfully many of the things were short, so I could squeeze the extra shelf in. Some of what you see will be showing up again in the next couple of weeks; expect to see both owls and ashtrays in the next couple of glaze firings. And that ginormous pile of yarn mugs in the back? That should tell you how...
