potential
Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on
Winnie-the-Pooh says that it's not the moment you're eating the honey, it's the moment right before you open the honey jar. That moment is filled with so much potential; it could be anything and it will probably be amazing. That's how I feel about a project right before I'm about to start it, when whatever could be called my canvas is still blank. It can be anything. And it will probably be amazing.
Introducing Windling, a new luxury heavy worsted/aran yarn
Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on
I know, I know! SO MUCH NEW this week. This is a luxury worsted weight yarn (heavy worsted/aran) and it's a non-superwash (so feltable) British Bluefaced Leicester and Baby Alpaca. Mmmmmmm. IT'S SO FLUFFY! Windling, like I said, is a heavy worsted/aran non-superwash yarn (great for those looking for feltable yarns for soakers!) and one that I have tested out before -- in fact, I still have three of the limited edition "tester" colorways available from earlier this year. You can see everything that Windling is currently available in here.

Introducing Ursula (a new luxury fingering/sock yarn)
Posted by A. Lorena Haldeman on
I have a new luxury base yarn I'd like to introduce you to; she's a stunner, but I won't have her all the time (so if you see her, and you like her...? Well, I'm just sayin'). Ursula is a fingering/sock weight yarn, a strong and shiny blend of 70% British BlueFaced Leicester (superwash), 20% Silk, and 10% Cashmere. You can see the colors I currently have in stock here.
