What do a butterfly, a bee, a gecko, and a dragonfly all have in common? In addition to being friendly garden creatures (and maybe one of your favorites), they all decorate different sides of this sack-style planter. Designed to look like a flour or potato sack, this planter would look perfect on your porch railing, steps, or on a side table with a few other houseplants to keep it company. 

This pot is glazed with non-toxic glaze, can be cleaned with warm soapy water, and is appropriate for outside living (although I would consider bringing it inside in below-freezing temperatures).

I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make incorporate now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy.
