Cow Skull planter (Sugar Skull)
This cow skull planter would be perfect for your succulents, or in a xeriscaped garden, and is just begging for something to take root inside of it. Additionally, this version has been dressed up and handpainted in a style reminiscent of Sugar Skulls. Because, really, what else could possibly make a skull planter more fabulous?!
This pot is glazed with non-toxic glaze, can be cleaned with warm soapy water, and is appropriate for outside living (although I would consider bringing him inside in below-freezing temperatures).

I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make are from now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio. I recently found the mold for this piece, a mold that is unfortunately not marked with either the mold manufacturer or the date made.
