This brown, purple, and yellow-orange yarn is approximately heavy Worsted weight Oatmeal Blue-Faced Leicester wool and was handspun on a Kromski Minstrel spinning wheel, a castle-style wheel which looks much older than it actually is. Oatmeal means that in the undyed, natural state, there is a light brown/oatmeal colored tint to the yarn.
As I said, this yarn is approximately worsted weight; I am not an even spinner so while not flat-out slubby, some parts are thicker than others (the beauty of handspun is that it's not always even like commercial yarn, making it more unique). This yarn was spun in a smoke-free, but not pet-free home; however, once spun it is kept in a bin which cats and dogs do not have access to.

HaldeCraft Handspun yarns started life with a desire to learn to spin wool inherited from a family member in 2002, continued to evolve in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida (Hanks Yarn and Fiber) and has continued online since 2011. This yarn is hand-spun and lovingly re-skeined in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do. While I tend to not add my handspun yarn into Ravelry as a particular base yarn, if you are looking for photos of HaldeCraft HandDyed colorways or finished objects and are on Ravelry, you can find my hand-dyed yarn in their database; just look for "HaldeCraft HandDyed".
