The pink of a little girl's bedroom. Tutus and tights and dance shoes. Molly Ringwald, sewing her own prom dress to the soundtrack of Suzanne Vega and The Psychedelic Furs. A shade of pink that is equally happy being matched with warm pastels or a solid, deep black. This tonal, semi-solid pink is the kind of color that proves you can be pretty and strong at the same time; beautiful and tough, adorable and saucy.
HaldeCraft HandDyed yarns started life in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida (Hanks Yarn and Fiber) and was then called "Perhaps Today is a Good Day to Dye". It has continued online as HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011, and is hand-dyed and lovingly re-skeined in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do. If you are looking for photos of yarn colorways or finished objects and are on Ravelry, you can find my yarn in their database; just look for "HaldeCraft HandDyed".
All of my fibers are hand-dyed singly or in batches of two. If you would like to order for a large project, please contact me and I will be more than happy to dye your order with every attempt to get everything as matching as possible. However, as with all hand-dyes (not just my own) I recommend once spun, working from alternating balls on larger projects as even yarns dyed at the same time may not be perfectly matched.
This roving was dyed in a smoke-free, but not pet-free studio; however, once dyed it is kept sealed in bags inside bins which studio dogs do not have access to.
