A deep, rich, tonal purple that is mostly dark but has a few strands of a lighter shade shining through here and there. If you are called to jewel-like tones, if you can't get enough of purple (and maybe if you just started humming a certain song) you might be called to work with this yarn. If purple is your favorite color, makes your eyes light up and your heart sing, this yarn will be an exciting addition to your stash and project queue!
HaldeCraft HandDyed yarns started life in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida (Hanks Yarn and Fiber) and was then called "Perhaps Today is a Good Day to Dye". It has continued online as HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011, and is hand-dyed and lovingly re-skeined (or braided, for fiber) in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do. If you are looking for photos of yarn colorways or finished objects and are on Ravelry, you can find my yarn in their database; just look for "HaldeCraft HandDyed".
All of my yarns and fibers are hand-dyed singly or in batches of two. If you would like to order for a large project, please contact me and I will be more than happy to dye your order with every attempt to get each skein as matching as possible. However, as with all hand-dyes (not just my own) I recommend working from alternating balls on larger projects as even yarns dyed at the same time may not be perfectly matched.
Whatever you spin with this will be feltable; keep that in mind when planning your projects.
This roving was dyed in a smoke-free, but not pet-free studio, and is kept sealed in bags inside of bins which the studio dogs do not have access to.
