You're of a certain age, and you had a variety of favorite toys when you were a child. You built forts for your Weebles and Little People out of Lincoln Logs. You could spend endless time on Sunday morning pressing your Silly Putty into the comics. You might even have had a Pachinko machine (at least until you dropped all those little metal balls on the floor and they scattered to the four corners). But your favorite, the one you still wish you had, was your Sock Monkey. Now you can rekindle your love of those soft chocolate grays and those bright reds, by making anything you want to make (even another Sock Monkey toy)!
I started dyeing yarn professionally for Hanks Yarn and Fiber in 2007, and have continued with HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011. If you are looking for photos of yarn colorways or finished objects and are on Ravelry, you can find my yarn in their database; just look for "HaldeCraft HandDyed".
All of my yarns are hand-dyed singly or in batches of two. If you would like to order for a large project, please contact me and I will be more than happy to dye your order with every attempt to get each skein as matching as possible. However, as with all hand-dyes (not just my own) I recommend working from alternating balls on larger projects as even yarns dyed at the same time may not be perfectly matched.
This yarn was dyed in a smoke-free, but not pet-free studio; however, once dyed it is kept sealed in bags inside bins which studio dogs do not have access to.
