This tonal, semi-solid deep forest green is named after one of the many mid-seventies science fiction movies that can delightfully be watched over and over again. If you are drawn to a green that is mossy and earthy (and possibly delicious, althoughHaldeCraft HandDyed yarns are not designed to be eaten), you'll love how this rich color can show off a cable or a complicated stitch pattern.
I started dyeing yarn professionally for Hanks Yarn and Fiber in 2007, and have continued with HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011. If you are looking for photos of yarn colorways or finished objects and are on Ravelry, you can find my yarn in their database; just look for "HaldeCraft HandDyed".
As with my yarns, all of my rovings are hand-dyed singly or in batches of two. If you would like to order for a large project, please contact me and I will be more than happy to dye your order with every attempt to get each as matching as possible. However, as with all hand-dyes (not just my own) I recommend that once spun, working from alternating balls on larger projects as even yarns dyed at the same time may not be perfectly matched.
This roving was dyed in a smoke-free, but not pet-free home; however, once dyed it is kept sealed in bins which cats and dogs do not have access to.
