Soylent Green in Neith

Soylent Green in Neith

Regular price $20.00 Sale

Named after one of the many Charlton Heston mid-seventies science fiction movies that I can watch over and over again (which is loosely based on a novel by Harry Harrison, and there's your science fiction trivia for the day), this green is mossy and earthy (and possibly delicious, but I'll leave that up to you).

I started dyeing yarn professionally for Hanks Yarn and Fiber in 2007, and have continued with HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011. If you are looking for photos of yarn colorways or finished objects and are on Ravelry, you can find my yarn in their database; just look for "HaldeCraft HandDyed".

As with my yarns, all of my rovings are hand-dyed singly or in batches of two. If you would like to order for a large project, please contact me and I will be more than happy to dye your order with every attempt to get each as matching as possible. However, as with all hand-dyes (not just my own) I recommend that once spun, working from alternating balls on larger projects as even yarns dyed at the same time may not be perfectly matched.

This pencil roving was dyed in a smoke-free, but not pet-free home; however, once dyed it is kept sealed in bins which cats and dogs do not have access to.
