What are you working on this week? Things have slowed down a little around here and I feel like I'm finally starting to catch up with my backlog (but then, we have family showing up here in this afternoon, after which, all bets are off -- so my "getting ahead" might fall by the wayside soon!). Meanwhile, here's what I have going on ....
In ceramics, I'm restocking a bunch of things throughout this week and next, and also listing some new things - I made a lot for a weekend show I was going to do and then wound up not being able to do the show, and that means a lot of things in stock on the website!
In soap, I also made about 120 bars last week, and that means that as soon as I can get them wrapped, there shouldn't be anything out of stock as far as soap is concerned! I'm also working on a new guest set, herbal fragrances, which will include the new Wild Mint & Ivy fragrance and also the much beloved Sage & Lemongrass (mmmmmm!). I hope to have everything wrapped and listed by the end of next week.
In yarn, I had a big update the week before last, and other than that, not much is happening. Yarn club is finished for this round, and spots are open for next round (and will be until the end of this month). I'm in the planning stages of next round and have already test dyed two of the colorways (one of them twice, because, you know, tweaking for perfection!).
In knitting... let's see... what do I have on the needles right now.... my second sky and temperature pillow of the year (have I shown off the first one, yet?)... a pair of socks in one of my old, old club colorways, "Lady Sings the Blues" that I don't remember starting but it must have been around Christmas, and then they got shoved in a bag I don't use much and I just found them a couple of weeks ago (does that happen to anyone else?!)... another pair of socks in some self-striping, I think it's Opal yarn, that I started about the same time, lost, and found again at about the same time as the blue ones.... a pair of socks in an Adrienne Fong pattern (I love her patterns, they're so deceptively easy!) in my "Sweet Baby James" colorway... and I've just started an entrelac scarf as a thank-you gift for a friend. Whew! And that's not counting two other projects, sweaters, that I still haven't found from moving. Hahahah whoops.
In Studio Kitten development, in spite of joking about giving him some long regal name, and in spite of all of the really fabulous suggestions all of you have given, it seems that his name seems to be defaulting to "Little Gray Kitten" or "Kitty Kitten". Sigh. I know, I know. So many great names and he gets... this. But he comes when you call him that! I mean, he'll run across the yard to you! Like a dog! (And don't think I didn't think about naming him "Dog", hahahaha).
I think that's about it for me this week... what about y'all? What are you working on?
