What are you working on this week?
This week in ceramics I'm afraid I'm not doing much -- I listed a few things (expect to see pictures scattered throughout the rest of the week) and that's about all I've had time for (of course that didn't stop me from watching a few videos on YouTube about using stamps in clay, making rolled handles instead of pulled handles, and one on an entirely new-to-me and completely infatuating mug design).
I'm making a little bit of soap this week; the promised new fragrances and a few restocks. I should have them listed over the weekend, Monday at the latest.
Most of my creative energy this week has been towards yarn and fiber; yarn club is shipping out today (as soon as I eat an early lunch, that is). I plan on spending most of the rest of the afternoon on it and those of you in club should start seeing shipping notifications in your inbox in a couple hours. I just redid my template on notifications and I'd love to know if you see an improvement! I'm also rather impatiently waiting for all the fiber I've been dyeing to dry so that I can start wrapping it up for Fiber-In (NINE! MORE! DAYS!). I just watched a YouTube video on how to braid fiber (so intuitive, I can't believe I didn't put that together before) so my fiber at the show will be in lovely braids for your viewing (and petting) pleasure.
In knitting, I'm working on a rather... uniquely... constructed sock. Those of you who have done Cat Bordhi socks before will understand what I mean. Completely genius construction, but almost impossible to understand until you're actually doing it. Once you've done it, the lightbulb goes off... but in reading the instructions you sort of feel like you're back working high school math word problems.
How about you? What do you have going on in your life this week?
