Works-in-progress Wednesday (01/06/16)

Welcome to the start of a new year! Is it fresh? Is it new? I was having a stellar start to the year until my dogs (remember last year how I broke my hand, breaking up a dog fight?) got into another fight yesterday. Fortunately it was in my husband's workshop part of the studio and I managed to get a big furniture dolly wedged in between the dogs to break the fight up, but... it still put a damper on the rest of the day and has harshed the happiness I was feeling of the new year. But, onward and upward, right?!

Here's what I've been working on in the last week...

In ceramics, I haven't had any time to start slipcasting yet, but today I'm at least making time to get the molds ready. Baby head mugs by the end of the month, y'all!

In soap, I still have some custom orders on the back burner, which have had to take a back seat while I get these 15-in-2015 prizes finished, packed, and out the door. I've got about three fourths of them finished and am hoping to get the rest out the door tomorrow.

In yarn, I'm all about yarn club this week. I've got January yarn dyed and about half of it wound, and am working on the swag (which is a bit of a story this time around)... and I've got March's yarn in the pots now (which might turn out to be February's yarn, because the yarn I ordered for the February base isn't here yet).

In knitting, I'm at the bind-off stage of my entrelac wrap! I can not WAIT to get it off the needles, get the fringe on, and get it blocked... and take about a bajillion photos of it finished to show it off.

In everything else... wait, is there anything else? Ah; I'm doing a planner thing on Instagram, posting daily photos of different parts of my planner and talking about how it works/doesn't work. For those of you not on Instagram (or for those of you who'd like to see it all in one place), would you be interested in me doing a blog post or posts about this? It would pretty much be the same thing I've posted there, just copied and pasted here. Think about it, let me know!

And that's about it for me. What are you working on this week?
