Did you miss out on this round of yarn club? Allow me to add to your angst by telling you all about January's popular colorway!
January's yarn was called “Bounty Hunter” and is named for Boba Fett. For as little screen time as he got in the films, everyone I know is pretty taken with him. Maybe it's that he seems to be the strong silent type... maybe it's the humor of how he was billed as the baddest bounty hunter, only to be knocked off into the belly of the Sarlacc by a guy who couldn't even see what he was doing at the moment... or maybe it's just the mystery of who he was that fascinates everyone. Why the scarred armor? Who was he? What sort of person was he?
Boba Fett was one of the two most popular colorways voted for in the poll, so I went with this colorway first (so the next two will be a complete surprise!).
For sock weight, the yarn is Andre, an 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon that gets 6-8 stitches per inch on a US 0-2 and comes in 400-yard, 100-gram put-ups.
For worsted weight, the yarn is Tepper, a 100% Superwash Merino that gets 4.5-5 stitches per inch on a US 7-9 and comes in 218-yard, 100-gram put-ups.
Thanks, y'all! Thanks for sticking with me through my break last year, and signing up for yarn club with such enthusiasm. Are you in club and have you made something with this yet? Post in our group on Ravelry, or tag @haldecraft on your Instagram pictures to get my attention. I love to see what you make with what I make!
Thanks, y'all!
PS. If you're sorry you missed that, keep an eye on this listing for extras of previous yarn clubs; I might have a couple extra to toss up there when the last shipment goes out in a couple of weeks. And if you don't want to miss out on the next round, spots open for the May-July club on March 14th!
