New in the shop: Goddess yarn bowls

New in the shop: Goddess yarn bowls

A great gift for the goddess-loving knitter or crocheter in your life (or maybe a great gift for yourself!).

Yarn bowls hold the yarn so that it doesn't roll around on the floor while you're trying to work on your project. This is a low, wide yarn bowl, and would have plenty of room for a large ball of yarn and also some notions. Run your yarn through the guide if you want to change yarn often, or through one of the holes next to the guide for a committed-to-the-bowl project!

These bowls were glazed with non-toxic glazes and can be cleaned with hot soapy water or run through the dishwasher. Each one is also individually decorated by hand in a unique, one-of-a-kind design; while the goddesses will remain similar when new yarn bowls are made, the decorations surrounding them will always be different... insuring that each yarn bowl has its own unique properties. Which one calls to your heart?

You can see more pictures of the individual ones, here.

HaldeCraft ceramics begin life as slip-cast, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces and then are painted and glazed and put out into the world, all by the hands of one person. I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make incorporate now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy.
