New in the shop: J-cut yarn bowls

New in the shop: J-cut yarn bowls

New yarn bowls in the shop now! I call these the J-cut style, because of the J-shaped cutout for the yarn (I guess that was pretty obvious, maybe I didn't need to explain it...?). Available in three different colors, you can find these good-sized, sturdy bowls here. They're wider than they are tall, so very unlikely to get knocked over - and because of the blending of the glazes, no two are ever going to look exactly the same.

A great gift for the knitter or crocheter in your life (or maybe a great gift for yourself!), yarn bowls hold the yarn so that it doesn't roll around on the floor while you're trying to work on your project. It doesn't hurt that most yarn bowls are also like small functional pieces of art - you could almost start a collection using the logic of one yarn bowl per current project!

HaldeCraft ceramics begin life as slip-cast, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces and then are painted and glazed and put out into the world, all by the hands of one person. I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make incorporate now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy.

Thanks, y'all!
