This week only, mugs for the crochet and knitting lover. I've decided to go in a different direction with these glazes, so here are the first few that I made - marked down so that you can get a one-of-a-kind mug at a discount!

You love crochet and knitting, and you love coffee (or maybe you love tea... or maybe you love both! Let's not limit ourselves!). What better way to show off your favorite craft with something to hold your favorite beverage? Use this mug as a good excuse to get a little yarn time in first thing in the morning (and then relax with it again at the end of the day).
These mugs were glazed with non-toxic food-safe glazes, and are dishwasher safe. And while I have been known to put my own ceramics in the microwave, I don't officially recommend it -- the rapid change in temperature can cause the glaze to cool more quickly than the ceramic, which retains heat, and so shrinks at a slower rate. This can occasionally call what is called "crazing" which is when the glaze cools faster than the ceramic piece, making small cracks in the glaze. This can happen immediately or even years later, and personally I've seen it happen on many of the commercial mugs I own that I put in the microwave often.
These mugs are hand-thrown on the wheel and as they are handmade there are slight variations of size and shape in each one. You will be getting the one photographed, and approximate dimensions are listed below:
