What are y'all working on this week? I should be all about the soap this week, but I feel like I'm all about the changes, instead. (Side note: I am still working on soap, though!).
In ceramics, if you read my blog post Monday, you know I've been evaluating how/when I work/release new things. So I've started working on a slew of pieces of what I call "The Marie Collection" and I should have those done and ready to release by the end of May. I'm really excited about it and can't wait to see all these pieces together! Let's see... what else do I have going on in ceramics...? After my blog post yesterday, I sold out of the ice cream bowls again, so I'll be restocking those as fast as I can. I'm about to fire the kiln and it has those pet food bowls in it, so expect those by the end of the week (so! cute!). It'll also have the April mug in that firing, so expect those to hit the shelves next week. And that means it's time for me to start thinking about the May mug!
In soap, I'm working on some restocks and some custom orders this week. And a new woodsy/masculine soap, tentatively called "Forest King".
In yarn, this Friday will see the limited release of former club colorway, When Doves Cry. Preorders all went out yesterday and Monday, so if you got your preorder in, start stalking your mail carrier soon! And I'm getting ready to start testing the next new colorway in the shop. Shhhh, it's a secret for now, I'll talk more about it next week! Lastly, spots in yarn club are open for next round; the theme is "pets" and all the colors will be multis.
In other things... I mentioned last week having a lot of doctor's appointments this month. I had one more last Friday, and have another this coming Friday, and hopefully that's it until April! Er, I guess technically that HAS to be it until April, sine Friday's the last day of the month...! The good news about all those appointments (even though they take me away from the studio) is that I almost have a pair of socks off the needles! Hurrah...?
So, that's it for me this week. What about y'all? What are you working on this week?
