Works-in-Progress Wednesday (08/09/17)

Well the *big* thing I'm working on this week is the end of the fourteenth and start of the fifteenth year of marriage to That Poor Man (happy anniversary, sweetie!). But I do have some work-related things, too!

In ceramics, I'm working on my next collection (in chocolate clay and glazes that will really pop)... I'm working on both the August and September mugs ... I'm evaluating things for the holidays and deciding what, if anything, I want to make that's special for shows.

In soap, I just had a small soap update (I think everything should have at least two bars right now) and I'm working on making a list of what to make for the upcoming holiday season -- not just full-sized bars for shows, but also Halloween and Winter Holiday sets.

In yarn, The 70s Have Called has been marked down 20% until the end of this month, or until sold out... I'm getting ready to do a couple of custom dye jobs... and I'm gearing up for yarn club, getting my colorways and swag ideas together.

In other things, I'm knitting along on my Weathered Wood socks and eyeing the bag that the corresponding sweater has been living in... I'm thinking about something else in either Irish Coffee or Cranberries... I'm thinking about what colors to bring in next year - all new colors vs some older club colorways that were popular... and I'm trying not to panic that I woke up this morning with a sore throat because the last time I woke up with a sore throat, ten days later I was getting an abscess drained in the ER. I really, deeply do not want to go through that again. If it still hurts tomorrow morning I may call the ENT doctor and see if they can see me Friday. Ugh. DO NOT WANT.

That's about it for me... what about y'all? What are you working on this week? What's on your list (or what's not on your list but you're working on it anyway)?
