Works-in-Progress Wednesday (10/31/18)

What are y'all working on this week? What's going on in your lives?

In ceramics, I'm trying to fill the kiln to fire it by Friday or Saturday. I've got the November mug of the month, some new mermaid mugs, some plant stakes... I'm also working on some more dragon mugs since y'all liked that - but here's my question on those: do you just want me to make a couple more? Or is that a mug you'd like to see become a regular item in the shop?

In soap, I've made my restocks-needs list, and am getting ready to start making soap today (I meant to start making soap yesterday, but had also scheduled myself to be in Gainesville running errands all day... I'm not sure how I keep forgetting I can't be in two places at the same time?). Anyway, expect to see some soap restocks by early next week (along with some new fragrances, one of which I released earlier this week, Wood Sage & Sea Salt).

In yarn, there's not much going on right now. I had some updates last week, and I'm getting ready to make a list of needed restocks. I also really, seriously, deeply need to take a look at my spinning fiber (which is all still offline after Fiber-In). My distributor stopped making some of the fiber I was dyeing and I need to think about what my next step is going to be - discontinuing vs. finding other fibers.

In Patreon, I'm getting ready to post Chapter Three on Sunday. My posting schedule over there is a chapter on the first Sunday, a recommendation on the second Sunday, a post about the Sandhill ecosystem on the third Sunday, and an advice column on the fourth Sunday. If there's a fifth Sunday in the month, I post a bonus short story; this can be anything from character backstory to world history to introduction of characters or situations that won't come into play for a while.

That's about it for me today... I can continue to write about the things I need to do, or I can just go and do them. So let's go do the things! Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone!
