Works-in-Progress Wednesday (11/15/17)

It's been a long day, y'all; I've gotten November yarn club out today (since I'm using a new postage client there was a bit more data entry than usual so it took a couple hours more than it normally does) and I've been catching up on behind-the-scenes things. But what else is going on this week? Not a whole lot, thank you, Chickenpox from my childhood giving me Shingles! But here's what is on my plate...

In ceramics, I've got all the new Tiki mugs listed. I know some of you have been patiently waiting for those seahorse dishes -- I'll have them listed early next week. I'm sorry -- I just had to switch gears to get yarn club out and my energy level (or rather, lack of) is making it hard to attend to everything I want to. I still need to paint those December mugs, and there are a lot of things I want to get glazed and ready for GLAM the first Sunday of December (my favorite Fall craft show!).

In soap, I have some that I made last week that I still haven't gotten to wrapping. Again, I'm sorry; this is the worst couple of weeks for me to be this sick. I'm hoping to get them wrapped tomorrow and listed Friday!

In yarn, my focus has been yarn club. I've wound November yarn, labeled it, and gotten it out the door... and that means the next round of yarn club is open! The theme this time around? Sticking with artists, but this time, just one... Vincent van Gogh. His paintings are so rich in color, I really think they'll lend themselves well to representation in yarn. As soon as I can, though, I want to start dyeing those sock blanks. I was hoping to have them before Christmas, but (and I hate to keep blaming being sick, but...) I'm behind in everything. Let's plan for an exciting January release for them!

In other things... not a whole lot, y'all. That Poor Man finally put up a bookshelf in our living room and I've been trying to unpack some books that have been in storage since we moved out here, but it's slow going. I can only get about a box or two a day (I think there were 12 boxes?) before I'm too tired to work on it. And mostly I'm trying to rest and sleep, get through this virus and find healing and new energy on the other side of it!

Oh! There is one exciting thing! You've heard me mention the sale I'm going to have, the 25 Days of Giftmas. I'll have a blog post outlining what that'll be about next week. It starts on Friday, November 24th, and runs 25 days through Monday, December 18th. I hope y'all like what I have planned!

So then... that's about it for me. What about you? What are you working on this week? What's on your list, getting done (or not getting done)? What are you doing that's exciting? That's dull? What's going on in your lives?
