Works-in-Progress Wednesday (12/14/16)

What are you working on this week? For having a show this Saturday, I am remarkably composed and not in a whirlwind tizzy of work.

In ceramics, mostly what I'm working on are prototypes for a couple of things for next year, and Christmas presents for my family (it's a good thing my family doesn't mind getting prototypes as Christmas presents). I'm also working on a few restocks, but I don't know how close I'll be cutting it to Christmas getting them listed. According to my "Back in Stock" reports, nobody has signed up to be notified when I'm out of something, so I'm not trying to hurt myself rushing on those restocks.

In soap, there's not much going on this week - I had a small restock towards the end of last week, and I might have another by this time next week depending on what comes back from Big Bang Bazaar with me. I'm also about to mail out the last month of A Year in Soap (the subscription service where I mail you a bar of soap every month in a fragrance you choose, so that you don't have to think about running out).

In yarn, there's also not a lot going on. I'm getting ready to test dye some new colors for next year, and I'm getting ready to place a base yarn order for yarn club, but that's about it for right now. I will have a small Andre and Tepper update by this time next week when I check back in everything I took out to bring to Big Bang Bazaar.

Oh, and I did have a small update of stitch markers this week, so if there's something you've been looking for but I've been out....?

Mostly I'm walking around surprised that I feel so ready for Big Bang Bazaar on Saturday (Sanford, Florida!). When I got back from GLAM, I unpacked everything and spread it around, and then picked out about half of it to bring with me to Big Bang... I've got a table instead of a booth, so I don't need as much. I still need to pack up the baby head mugs, but that's about it for getting ready... everything else I pretty much took care of after GLAM. I guess all that scramble the last week of November/first week of December was worth it!

In knitting, I have two pairs of socks on the needles, and I just started a cat bed for the outside boys. Which will probably become two or three cat beds. Which they probably won't even use. But I'll feel better for having made them when cold weather comes around.

That's about it, I think, for me... what about you? What are you working on this week? How are your holiday plans going?
