As a commission piece, I made six mugs for Wild Iris Books with their current logo on them. This was a new technique for me, and I learned much... mostly about not being afraid to try new things (or at least, being afraid and doing it anyway). There are only six of these mugs; four right-handed and two left-handed (so defined by which way the Goddess faces when you hold the mug in whichever hand). Mostly for the locals

   A lot of you know that the lovely ladies at Wild Iris Books have been letting us spin there on the Third Thursday of the month (next meeting, December 20th!). But if you follow me on Facebook (I forget if I've brought it up here), you also know that they've been having some problems but the community has pulled through for them, and they'll be moving at the end of December.  While the new location is going to be much smaller, they have pledged to continue to make room for us! Also somewhat related, is this recent article on the Gainesville Sun about Wild Iris Books. So they'll be moving soon, and fortunately HaldeCraft will be moving with them. They'll be closed for January and hope to be open early February. Of course I'll keep everyone posted!

HaldeSoap restocks at Wild Iris Books

Pumpkin Walnut Biscotti, what what?!? That's right, I'm totally changing up the soaps at Wild Iris Books (802 West University Avenue). It's time to bring in some Autumn/Holiday fragrances, and since I've been toying with the idea of a major soap switchout anyway (bringing in new fragrances there, and getting rid of what's not been selling), I figure this is a great opportunity to start the ball rolling.  Limited fragrances now there include Autumn Harvest, Applejack, and Pumpkin Walnut Biscotti; this week I'll also be bringing in Gingersnap, Christmas Cookie, Candy Cane, and a few other things.  Also, if you...
