Instead of drinking your brew out of a cauldron, how about out of a mug made from the tiny skulls of your enemies? I mean, cauldrons are so large and hard to lift!
Each one of these mugs is handbuilt so there will be slight variations but approximate dimensions are listed below:
Approximate Height: 5 inches
Approximate Width: 4 inches
Approximate Weight: 1 lb 4 oz
Holds Approximately: 20 ounces
These mugs are glazed with non-toxic glazes, and can be washed with hot soapy water or even run through the dishwasher in order to be cleaned. Each one is made by hand, slab-rolled, impressed, and hand-formed. While I have been known to put my own ceramics in the microwave, I don't officially recommend it -- the rapid change in temperature can cause the glaze to cool more quickly than the ceramic, which retains heat more than the glaze does, and so shrinks at a slower rate. This can occasionally call what is called "crazing" - small cracks in the glaze. This can happen immediately or even years later, and personally I've seen it happen on many of the commercial mugs I own that I put in the microwave often.
HaldeCraft began with ceramics, soap, and yarn. I've been making ceramics since I was four years old, learning at the feet of my grandmother who had a home studio in the 50s and 60s. Currently I make slip-cast, hand-built, or wheel-thrown pieces (or a combination of all three) and then are painted and glazed and put through multiple kiln firings before being put out into the world. The yarn started life in 2007 in a small yarn store in Gainesville, Florida (Hanks Yarn and Fiber) and was then called "Perhaps Today is a Good Day to Dye". It has continued online as HaldeCraft HandDyed since 2011, and is hand-dyed and lovingly re-skeined in a small home studio by someone who loves the fiber arts just as much as you do. Making soap was a hobby that I had for years, and I started making soap for the yarn store, and continued when starting HaldeCraft. Lately I've picked up laser engraving, taking my craft to a whole new level. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio with confidence, mindfulness, and joy. Everything at HaldeCraft is created by hand, by me, in order to joyfully connect with you!
