When I used to work in the document production department at an Engineering company, we had an unofficial slogan (ok, we had lots of them, but this is about a particular one). So, Tuesday night, about the time Tim and I were watching our last TV show of the evening, I was like, "Holy wow, what is that NOISE???".... we paused the TV and listened to the longest rumble of thunder I've ever heard. Back in the saddle (almost)

Good morning, everyone! Or afternoon, if that's when you're seeing this. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity, culminating in a party three years in the making - my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. That's what all those mugs have been for, the last few weeks (they were very much appreciated and everyone loved them). Then last week I threw myself into working rather than blogging for two reasons -- I physically could, having graduated physical therapy the day before the festivities began, and I emotionally could, my mind being freed from thoughts of party planning....

Down but not out

I don't know if I've really brought it up here before - mostly because it's not HaldeCraft related, really - but my dogs fight sometimes. Mostly it happens when the four-legged dog (Corwin) accidentally bumps up against (Lindy) the three-legged dog's stump, which scares Lindy and she snaps at Corwin, who snaps back, and a fight ensues. Monday they got in a fight because they got overexcited seeing a turtle and when I tried to pull them away, they turned on each other - with me in between them as I was walking them on leashes.
